The Mitre Trust was featured at a recent special event for LEDCOM directors and staff.
A cheque for £250 was presented to Professor James Nixon and Pam Anstey of the Mitre Trust by LEDCOM’s Chairman Henry Fletcher and chief executive Ken Nelson.
The money was raised through personal donations from LEDCOM directors and staff – as well as “ penalties” from a recent LEDCOM “ Fat Club”!

Professor Nixon, Chairman of the Mitre Trust, highlighted the importance of the Musgrave facilities to many families across Northern Ireland.

LEDCOM chief executive Ken Nelson spoke of the benefits he received through the Regional Acquired Brain Injuries Unit (RABIU) at Musgrave Park, following a brain haemorrhage and stroke last year.
