Christy Rodgers from Limavady had treatment at Musgrave Park Hospital for a broken neck following a bad fall. As thanks for the care he received his sons Stephen and Ricky were “persuaded” by his partner, Sonia Jackson, to run the Londonderry half marathon. Having never run any serious mileage before they both completed the half marathon in a very respectful time of 1hr 59mins, raising £385 for MITRE. They, and their family, have our very grateful thanks and respect.
